DILLON, Mont., April 15, 2016 — Montana Gov. Steve Bullock will help celebrate the expansion of the Montana Center for Horsemanship (MCH) Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 3 p.m.
The groundbreaking ceremony at the Dillon, Mont. facility will feature remarks by Gov. Bullock followed by a ceremonial groundbreaking and tours of the center which includes a new 300x200 indoor arena.
University of Montana Western natural horsemanship students WesleyAnn Johnson and Kelly Wieman were recently published in Cowgirl magazine.
The January/February edition of the national publication includes the students’ article, “Mustang Misconceptions.”
Johnson wrote the article which includes Wieman’s photography as part of a class assignment in which students spent several days in the Pryor Mountains studying wild mustangs.
DILLON, Mont., Jan. 29, 2016 – University of Montana Western Interim Provost Sylvia Moore announced today the addition of an instruction option to the university’s natural horsemanship program beginning in Fall 2016.
“This new option fulfills a significant need in the equine industry for properly trained and certified equine instruction,” Olie Else, equine studies chair, said. “It is important that we train the upcoming generation to observe and teach safe and effective horsemanship.”
